Virtual staging is allowed in rental listings. What matters is that it is disclosed — and that is the part we handle, on every order, without you having to remember.

Why the label is burned in
A caption under a photo on a web page disappears the moment somebody right-clicks and saves the image, forwards it, or uploads it to a portal that strips the surrounding text. So the label is composited into the image itself, plus written into the file’s metadata. An individually saved staged image cannot escape its own label — which is the only version of this that actually holds up.
Put this in your listing
The disclosure guide gives you the wording. It is one line:
“Some photographs are virtually staged. Furnishings shown are digital and are not included with the rental.”
What we change, and what we never touch
We furnish and decorate empty space. We do not alter the structure of a room, remove or hide defects, change fixtures, or modify anything about the physical condition of the property. If a worn floor or a small window is visible in your original, it is visible in the staged image too. That boundary is what separates staging from misrepresentation.
Why it protects you
Unlabelled staged photographs are the usual root of two avoidable problems: an applicant or tenant who says the unit was not as advertised, and a deceptive-advertising complaint about the listing itself. Both are answered by the same two things — a clear label and the original photo. That is what the package gives you, and why we keep the guide with it.
How long you keep it
Your delivered files — staged images, unaltered originals and the disclosure guide — stay downloadable for 12 months from delivery. After 90 days we move them to lower-cost archival storage. They remain available for the full 12 months; a download may just take a moment longer to start. We email you before that window closes, so a listing that is still live never loses its paperwork by surprise.
